Underextrusion compensation at different flow rates
-
While watching this video below.
They spoke about how increasing hotend speed/volume mm/3 introduced underextrusionmade me wonder if there was a way to automatically compensate for this underextrusion somewhow at various flowrates
so based on a given rate of extrusion a different extrusion multipler would be applied so that it would achieve the desired amount of filament outputted

This feature is already available. It is called non-linear extrusion.
M592There have been a few good forum posts on this topic in the past:
https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/6015/guide-for-finding-the-values-for-m592-non-linear-extrusion
https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/5588/non-linear-extrusionAll that being said I know I have gotten away from using it since upgrading to dual drive extruders. I think many others felt the same way.
Now the use case in your above post might warrant another look.Edit: I just watch the video all the way through. I would love for him to do a dual drive extruder test to see if the results changed.
