DWC Duet Web Control 3.4.0-rc2 no extrude or retract
when the extruder is up to temperature the extrude and retract are grayed out, only available once gcode has been sent

Is it on an SBC or stand alone?
I don't see that on a Duet 2 stand alone.
I can watch teh retract button become active as the temp passes the cold retract value and then the extrude button become active as I pass the cold extrude value.what do you get when you send

Normally you'd put an M302 in config.g or in your /filaments/"filament type"/config.g
I'm not sure what the defaults are if you don't.
M302 P1 should immediately activate the extrude/retract buttons (it does for me)
Please post your entire config.g and ensure that you have DWC version 3.4.0-rc2Might be a job for @chrishamm

Post your config. Last time I saw this the tool didn't have an extruder motor assigned.

G29 S1 does not set units to mm. It loads the heightmap, which shouldn't happen in config.g anyway. Best to remove that line.

Is the tool selected? Your screen shot doesn't show the full window so it's hard to tell.
Can you share the results of M122 and M98 P"config.g"
It seems you're using a mini5+? But you have 6 drivers configured...

Hi had issues updating firmware via DWC
Error: M997: In-application programming binary "0:/firmware/Duet3_SDiap32_Mini5plus.bin" not foundso did the update via usb.
M98 P"config.g"
HTTP is enabled on port 80
FTP is disabled
TELNET is disabledUpdated to rc2
I worked out the issue i did not have any filaments loaded, didn't realise i had to enter a filament , im still not sure why it needs filaments in DWC as all the info comes from the slicer

You appear to be missing this file.

You should place it in the firmware directory to make future updates possible.
I can't really make out the details in your screen shot. What do you mean by loading a filament?

@moth4017 Where do you select T0? I have a T0 at the bottom of config.g to make sure it's selected.
