Hi, i have a problem with the smart effector.
It Is the third time that my hotend wire gets broken in the smart effector plug ( you can see it in the photos)
The wire is standard from e3d hotend, and it is quite stiff.
What can i do to solve the problem? Do i need a more flexible wire?

Maybe put some shrinktube on the plug or print a little arm that relives the stress from the movement on the cable near the plug.
So that the stress is applied on the cable a bit higher up and not directly by the plug-top.
(just realized I can't explain myself in english anymore)

I'm not stupid, I'm just unlucky when I try figuring it out.

Better strain relief certainly. There should be no movement of the wire at the connector.

@ulcast one of the best investments I made for my delta was a pre wired strain relieved connector - all those breaks and poor connections just went away.

the wires you used there are way to stiff with all that effector movement. get yourself decent wires..i uses a igus cable...made for automations...expensive but someone at reprap forum made a strain relief for the smart effector and that cable. Or get some Heluflon or other decent brand and make all wires new.
