Heater broken?
-
hey community,
I´ve been printing 2 moths with Tool 1 and suddenly the temperatur gets crazy. (see picture). Does anybody know, if it´s a common problem?
It´s the e3d revo hemera.
I changed nothing.thanks a lot

@gruna-studio There are a few issues with some heater cores, reach out to E3D support and they will replace it.

@gruna-studio Looks familiar. That's almost certainly an unstable connection with the thermistor of heater 1. Look for connectors and crimps on that lines.

@infiniteloop
-tool is not moving- it just happens when heating about 150 degree.
I don´t know how this can be a crimp problem.
I think this cable ´´issue´´ is just a standard idea.

@rushmere3d ok thanks a lot

@gruna-studio said in Heater broken?:

No, it's practice: a connector to the thermistor (genuine E3D part) at my print head sometimes shows this behaviour at higher temperatures. Re-fitting it again often helps.

This is also a standard way that thermistors fail ....
