@lastmark Why do you think there needs to be more than those two files?

Did you try the instructions as they are written?
Did something go wrong? If so, post your results here.

@lastmark following on from @alankilian , you may find you don't need to install any drivers - later visions of windows do not always need them.

Gents thank you for the reply, didn't need the driver as you said already there.
Now i have gone through the config for the board and saved the config files to my desktop but before I down load them to the board i was wondering you see I got the Duet 3D board with in a package with a self build CNC machine from a company called Ratrig, now they have supplied a wiring diagram for the Duet board show which connectors to wire each stepper motor and limit switch to. As they have done this would they have already configured the Duet board for the CNC machine?
Please understand that I am a 57 year old woodworker not a 25 year old computer programmer! And the process of setting this Duet board up is very daunting!

@lastmark It's pretty unlikely that RatRig would have gone to the trouble of creating and uploading a configuration file but it's easy enough to check. Option 1 with no power on the board, is to remove the SD card and put it in your PC. Look in the folder called "sys" - that's where confg.g will reside if it exists. Option2 is once the board is fitted and wired up, open up the web interface and look at the system files.

(PS - this is from a retired 69 year old wood worker) 🙂
