      Hi,

I use a PanelDue 5i with my Duet2 Board. Now I have the problem, that the touch panel only accepts touches in the right half of the screen. I might have caused this problem myself by not being cautious enough with static charge on my fingers. (So no warranty claim here)

I guess I am not the first one encountering this problem. So I would like to know if there is a known fix to it. I could think of replacing a specific component on the board or – at worst – get a new screen (while keeping the PCB).

Until today a non-working touch input was not much of a problem, because it still works fine as a screen. But today I decided to install a new PanelDue Firmware. Thus I am forced to complete the screen calibration process, which is not possible as long as the panel does not accept touch inputs on half the screen.

Any help is appreciated. Even a hint if there is no reasonable chance to fix it. Thanks!

@justus2342 first check that the problem isn't caused by the face of the display being screwed too tightly to the enclosure.

It's possible to replace the touch membrane. If you use the Search facility in this forum to search for "membrane" then you may find some suggestions.
