I am currently converting my Raise 3d printer to the Duet 3 mini.

I noticed something about the component fans.
all run on a tool board of the printer.

      the board runs on 12v.
If I now connect the fans to a fan connector, they cannot be turned down.
regulation only works on the marked out6 buff connection.

is there a second connection of this kind?

      Love my Duet 3 Mini.

@Proschi78 you can use out3, out4, out5 and out6 to connect fans to

          @jay_s_uk yes I know that.
only they run there all the time.
it can only be regulated with this one out6 buff

@Proschi78 how are you configuring them? how are you wiring the fan in? what fan part number is it? is it 2 wire, 3 wire or 4 wire?

there are 12 v fans connected to a raise 3d tollboard with 2 cables.
via a ribbon cable on the motion board.

the tollboard is supplied with 12v via the ribbon.
the fans each have a cable in the ribbon.
but they work perfectly on the out 6 buff.
I just want to be able to control both separately

@Proschi78 that doesn't really answer anything. without the commands you're using to configure them and explicit wiring details its very difficult to help you further.
My first guess if you've wired them incorrectly but without knowing what you have connected where I have no idea.

12V is on the 12V output.

left fan on the out 6 buff

@Proschi78 so you're bypassing the power outputs on the fan connector and purely using the out 6 buff connector.
So the question is. how did you wire them in when you tried the other out connectors?

On the right is the LED lighting, then the left fan and then the right and the 12v connection. The one on the left cannot be controlled. He's always on

@Proschi78 all the out connectors on the duet switch on the ground side, not the positive side. so if you're wiring from 12v to a ground connection, the fans will always be on

@jay_s_uk And then why does it work on the out6 buff?

@Proschi78 i'm assuming you're wiring the ground side of the fan to out6buff
