Strange Behavior Duet 3 Crashed

A few days ago the CoreXY printer had a physical crash which required me to rebuild much of the hotend. During rewiring i had some Heater 0 faults as i was trying to remove some melted plastic, so there were a few faults in a row which i successfully cleared with no issue.
The printer has been off ever since, and when trying to finally boot back up, i got no response, all fans spin up maximum, but no wifi is visible to connect. All status LEDs are normal.
Finally i connect via USB and the config.g file is not present, and a resurrect.g file is present. luckily i had a backup so i restored my config.g and now things seem back to normal.
Anyone know what might have happened here?
Duet 3 Mini 5+ firmware version 3.4.2.

Hard to say. Was there a config.bak file?

@RogerPodacter I had a test macro on the SD card that deleted the Config.g file when it was triggered

config.bak was also missing.
