@rogerpodacter here are my new specs. side note i used the format tool but it did not let me chose a cluster size, but it so happened to default using 32kb cluster size so that's good.

@dc42 Thanks, that makes it clear. I have no need for that particular SD card slot. I just wasnt clear if there was some other advantage, but i obvioulsy use Wifi for all my Gcode file uploads:)
I used the input shaper plugin, recorded motion with no shaper, then recorded motion with each of the other shapers activated, then i can compare. I have obvious spikes on my chart.
Your chart has literally no spikes at all. It would indicated you dont have any frame or belt issues with your printer, but i've never seen this. even the best printers still yield a peak resonance frequency. are you sure your accelerometer is tight, and at the proper location as close to the nozzle as possible?
@phaedrux yes so far today since i've done that it seems perfectly reliable. so it very likely could have been my computer causing this issue.
I guess a side note, only the DWC tab seems to grow in resources, its probably the console log constantly running...
@Phaedrux i did not get a chance to try these steps, but i think i am on the latest firmware.
i thought more about this and remembered in the last few days i added a liquid cooling pump, the standard PC type using 3 wire 12V 0.8 amp. the tach wire goes directly to the Duet board out4.tach, and the 12V and ground goes directly to a dedicated power supply.
once i removed this tach wire, this issue disappeared. this doesnt make sense why this would matter. when the printer did boot up, the pump RPM's gave a normal reading in DWC. so it worked correctly. but i guess something was causing a glitch with this setup.

@fickert i had similar issues and i solved it nearly completely by increasing motor current. i would run my CoreXY motors at 1.4 amps using TMC2209 drivers, and these motors are rated 2.5 amps/phase. I raise the current to 2.0 amps, and the motors quieted down almost completely.
WARNING i had to add active cooling to my mainboard! My drivers overheated quickly until i added a fan on the mainboard. I use the Duet 3 Mini 5+, and a simply 4010 fan blowing across the driver chips keeps the board at around 39C. I added the fan to temperature control of the MCU temp, so the fan kicks on automatically when the board gets hot.

@jay_s_uk thanks, i removed the 3rd wire and checked each wire re-mapping them. the switch is now working normally. i have no idea what happened or how i've been running for months and why it changed. my endstops are all connected with the 3 wires interestingly.

@jay_s_uk i dont think that was intentional to use 3 wires. i must have set it up in the beginning and it worked ever since. i just need normally open so i'll have to remove one wire figure out which one.
@dc42 see attached picture. Switch connects to IO0 below the extruder driver port. if i reverse the switch wiring, there is no response from clicking. no shorts, but not registering in Duet (object model, sensors, gpIn, sensor 0)
I have a strange issue. I run an IDEX printer, and on my 2nd print head i have a Y feeder to accept 2 filaments. I manage which filament is loaded with a simple 5V switch connected to IO0 on toolboard 21 (1LC).
This setup has been working for months. I took a 1 month break from printing and now when i go to use this print head the switch does not respond. When clicking the switch the toolboard reboots, so it seems the switch shorts the pin with each button press. Perhaps i changed something and dont remember, but to my knowledge everything should be in a working state.
Any advice how to troubleshoot this? also i have multiple spare switches to use and when i swap one in they all short the board, so unlikely to be faulty switch.

@NZSmartie i dont fully understand the questions. but i have a custom created printer where i have 2 filaments going to one printhead nozzle. i have a single Orbiter extruder on the carriage, and i have 2 more orbiter extruders at each filament spool, so when i select tool 2 it uses one pair of extruders, and tool 3 uses another pair of extruders. i dont use the filament functions.

i get stutter on the new 3.5 beta4 when manually jogging in the X direction only. it is not repeatable and only happens randomly. Each time i am jogging 50mm increments, and it seems the stutter is 25mm-25mm to reach the 50mm. for example i will jog 4 times in the same direction, and the last jog is two 25mm jogs rapidly instead of one 50mm jog.
@ozgunkilicafsar did things work normally using thermistors, before you got the daughterboard?
here is my heater config if it helps. but i use thermistors for my heaters, but i do use the thermocouple daughterboard but i dont link them to any heaters for my setup.
