BACKLASH COMPENSATION FEATURE

When will this feature be introduced? I intend to use a Duet to run a cnc lathe but ballscrews do need to be backlash compensated. It was mentioned that this feature was on to do list but with such a well designed board without such a feature its a real pity....

It could be usefull in 3D printers too (esp extruders), so you're not alone with "missing" it. -

I think there was some suggestion it might show up in 3.5, but I'm not seeing in the latest changelog of the 3.5.0 beta
I'm kinda hoping it shows up in one of the future 3.5 versions

@mendelevium backlash compensation is still scheduled to be implemented in RRF 3.5.

I've got several cnc's lined up this will be useful for, including ones at our hackspace. -
Will it be possible to determine backlash with the X-carve XYZ touch probe?
I'm sure there's a macro to find the center of the XY-hole, but can it spit out backlash numbers, too?
