PanelDue 7i display goes funny while printer is sitting idle

The screen looks like the photo below. If I just unplug/plug it in, it comes back. This seems to happen reliably.

Does it still seem to respond to touch when it's like that?
Firmware version? Can't hurt to try reflashing it.

@Phaedrux it does beep when I touch the screen. But I wouldn't want to touch a button without knowing what I've pressed.

@gnydick Does it do the same thing if you remove the case and leave it for a while? I had a similar issue at one point and it turned out that the case was causing a problem with the zebra strip that is used to connect to the display.
