Hello, I searched the forum but with negative results, I have an ultimaker 2+ extend printer which stopped working due to an electrical problem due to a storm, the motherboard burned, the printer is modified with a double extruder, DXU modifier available from ultimaker forum, since I read that it is possible to install a duet2 wifi I would like to find the coniguration file or an existing project to check if this modification is possible, before buying a new original ultimaker card thanks for the help.

@dadoblu_2000 There are a few threads about updating Ultimakers with Duet boards:
        https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/19146/duet-2-wifi-config-file-for-ultimaker-2-extended
        https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/14837/main-board-for-ultimaker-2

Realistically, we don't have guides for updating every printer with a Duet. However, there is a wealth of information on the wiki. If you follow the wiring guide here https://docs.duet3d.com/en/How_to_guides/Wiring_your_Duet_2 and the configuration guide here https://docs.duet3d.com/en/How_to_guides/Configuring_firmware it should get you up and running. Any questions, just ask!

One note: if you have a stock Ultimaker 2, I think they usually come with a PT100 temperature sensor for the hot end. If you want to keep this, you will need the PT100 daughterboard: https://docs.duet3d.com/Duet3D_hardware/Accessories/PT100_Temperature_Daughterboard
Alternatively, you can replace it with a PT1000 or thermistor of the same size.

@dadoblu_2000 one other piece of advice: consider whether it might be better to install a Duet 3 Mini instead of a Duet 2. The Duet 3 boards already support some features that Duet 2 doesn't, and this list will grow in future because of limited memory on Duet 2. The main reason for using Duet 2 would be if the stepper motors need more current than the Duet 3 Mini can comfortably supply. If you can identify the stepper motor model numbers on your Ultimaker, we can look up the rated current and determine whether Duet 3 Mini would be suitable.
