Perimeter half the height of infill

Hi,
has anyone tried printing the perimeter or even just the outer most perimeter with half the layer height of the other features?

If done in the following order it should work shouldn’t it?

• Print outer perimeter at halt the layer height,
• Print the full height parts
• Print a second half height outer perimeter

Sorry if this is already a slicer feature. I was unable to find it.

This is a slicer feature, but it's usually directed at the infill. So your normal layer height is 0.2, but infill is only printed every X number of layers.

Yeah I do it a lot actually. This is especially good for external details, when you don't necessarily want the infill. Set your layer height to the desired height... Say 0.1 but only infill every two layers. In superslicer that looks like this:

You'll have an effective internal eight of 0.2 while the external perimeters are 0.1
