About 50% of the time when I turn my new printer on, my wifi module goes all weirdo on me. Ive updated the module itself, the paneldue, the DWC and the printer firmware (RRF3.4.5) I can send a M552S0 the a M552S1 and it will change modes and connect properly. I'd like it to work as intended if at all possible. This is a Duet 2 Wifi with a 7" paneldue.

Can you send M122 and copy paste the results here?

Try this, remove the M552 S1 command from config.g and instead put it in a macro file in the sys folder called startwifi.g or something. Add a G4 S10 delay before the M552 S1. Then in config.g at the very end, add M98 P"startwifi.g"

@Phaedrux said in Wifi Module error:

                  G4 S10

So after doing that and running several tests...it appears that worked. Its weird I don't have to do that on my Railcore. It starts up just fine. The paneldue reads "starting up" and after about 10 seconds it starts and a couple seconds later it connects. It looks as though that solved my problem. Thank you. Would you be willing to explain that to me so I have a better understanding?

Just a hunch. It seemed like it was trying to enable the module too early or something like that. Usually the M552 commands are held back until after config.g finishes executing.

@DC42 may have a better explanation.
