Strange Mid-Print Gcode Error
-
2 times within the last 2 days this strange error happened during a print. All motion simply ceases and the print stops. The toolhead doesnt retract or return to a park position, but the entire machine simply freezes, and DWC shows the print is over and i cam move the axis around manually. The console reports that it cannot locate a gcode file which i was not printing at all.
See screenshot. I was printing the attached shape-box gcode file as a test print, and it suddenly asked for some other gcode file i printed many months ago.
The print failed on layer 2, the print was just getting started. The SD card has 6gb free out of 8gb.
File printed
Shape-Box_0.15mm_PLA_4h9m.gcodeEDIT: one thing i just recalled is lately when i take the SD card inserted into c computer, the SD card is slow the respond initially. it freeze the file explored up to 60 seconds before finally working normally and proceeding to let me explore and edit files. perhaps the SD card is beginning to fail?

@RogerPodacter It sounds like your microSD card is dying, you should replace it and check if the problem persists. Also it would not harm to upgrade to v3.4.5.

@chrishamm update: today this SD card died permanently. so it was in fact beginning to fail.
the SD card is the one which came with the Duet 3 Mini 5+ which i purchased in Sep 2022.
