Disable stealth chop
-
hello,
I just read that for the Orbiter 2.0 I have to disable stealth chop.
How can I do it?Thanks

You'd want to put it in spreadcycle mode.

@IndeX4D if you run RepRapFirmware 3.4.0 or later than the drivers will be in spreadCycle mode by default.
You can check which mode a driver is in my sending M569 P# where # is the driver number.

hey
thanks for your fast answer.there is just written ´´´drive motor with stealth chop disabled´´.
rrf 3.5 beta 3
My extrudr stops midprint, but it´s not clocked or something. When I pause print everything is fine.
But extruding while printing is only possible again after restart.
I´ve read a very old posting. Let me take a look for it, but before I wanted to be sure, that stealth chop is disabled. -

I think I´ve the same but first try to ground the nozzle has not helped.

@jay_s_uk ah really?
Has not happened a lot of times. Now, every print. So... that sounds for a short vacation. When will beta 4 available? -
