Hotend recomendación….

Hi,
I want to upgrade my printer and I am searching info for change hotend, for this moments I have see 2 that like me:
— E3D v6 <<–-Tnink, no. The TLM,is supplied with Volcano variant
— Prometheus v2There is a lot of Hotends, and I don't see clear.
I am searching a Hotend for:
— Nozzle 0,4
— Print Pla and Abs
— Delta printer
— Easy clean/dismounted (gggrrrrppppffffss....clogs)What hotend do you recommended

Well e3d v6 is the market leader as its probably the best all round, however there are other hotend systems out there which might suit you better. What materials do you want to print and at what temperatures? If you don't need to go over 250 then a ptfe lined heatbreak is a lot less trouble, until the ptfe does degrade then it jams.
I've a deltaprintr mini hotend and have never had any trouble with it, but it prints a lot less hours than my v6 or volcano which need a bit of cleaning and unjamming occasionally.
There is no 100% reliable hotend molten plastic is just too sticky.

The materials are PLA, 205º, and ABS, 220º aprox… the printer have mounted a E3D v6 Volcano, china clone.... i have see in ebay/amazon for 15$.... and the genuine E3D V6 Volcano.... aprox 100$.... its very diference, this is the main reason i am searching one alternative....

You get what you pay for. A cheap hot end will almost certainly give you problems.

Go for a genuine E3D Lite6, you won't have any problems. I switched from a v6 to the Lite6 a few months ago, and I don't regret it.

I'm for sure an E3D fanboy. I've used the V5 and the V6. The V5 gave me some troubles, which are not worth talking about as the V6 fixed them all. Never had a jam with the V6, it performed flawlessly from day 1 till I stopped using it.
Right now I'm using the TitanAero and it's working great.

Why advantages have?
The biggest difference between the Lite 6 and the V6 is that the PTFE liner goes all the way through the heat break on the Lite6 but stops at the heat sink side of the heat break on the V6. There are other minor differences too but that's the main one. Oh and the V6 Lite is quite a lot cheaper. Some people have experienced jamming issues with the V6 which have been cured by changing to the Lite 6. The downside of the Lite 6 over the V6 is that you are limited to temperatures of about 240degC max (which is fine for the majority of filaments out there). IMO, unless you are going to be printing at temperatures above 240 deg C, then go for the Lite 6.
