Duet Closed Loop Stepper 23CL

Hello,
I came across the Duet 3 closed loop stepper motor (https://docs.duet3d.com/Duet3D_hardware/Duet_3_family/Duet_3_Motor_23CL) and thought it would be a great addition to a machine I am developing. Is there a timeline on when it's going to be available in the US region? I am interested in the 56 mm and 76mm NEMA 23 variants without brake. I would like to test these out for my application and I think would help make the wiring, setup, and usage easier.

Are there any plans for the NEMA17 variant of this?

Currently, we are only producing a 76mm NEMA 23 version for stock. However, we can order different sizes; probably best to email us on sales@duet3d.com if you are interested.

For the NEMA 17 version, it has been discussed, but there are issues with packaging everything small enough to fit on the back of a NEMA 17 motor, so no immediate plans afaik. Alternatively, you can get a 1HCL board and magnetic encoder to fit on your existing NEMA 17 and NEMA 23 motors. These are available now.
