This is my first post here and I have been reading a lot. I have had some minor issues with my Makergear M2 and I decided to upgrade from the Rambo 1.4 board to a Duet 3 mini wifi board with BL touch, along with the 7inch screen.

I'm trying to find all the information that I will need to make the conversion and one thing that has has me trying to figure out is if I need to change my z-endstop or is it OK as is and or does the BL Touch become the endstop.

I have had my printer since 2016 and this will be my 1st experience at modifying a 3d printer.

      Any help much appreciated, thanks

@Theboz1419 You can have the z endstop AND the BLTouch (it would generally just be used for the mesh bed mapping), but usually it's simpler just to use the BLTouch as the Z endstop and for bed mesh compensation, and remove the Z endstop.
