Simple Connection Display for Duet Maestro
-
Hello everybody.
Is there any type of LCD display for the Duet Maestro that does not require any wiring changes, other than the PanelDue?I have a mks mini 12864 v3 display (https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/1005004605578891.html), but I was confused about the change in the wires, I couldn't understand.
Is there any other that is plug and play? -
@RodrigoRMaraujo That one won't work with the Maestro, as it has addressable RGB LEDs, which the Maestro doesn't support (well, it does in 3.5, but there's a timing issue that hasn't been fixed). See https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Connecting_hardware/Display_12864 for supported displays. Basically, you need a display with a ST7920 controller chip, like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1874961796.html

@droftarts thanks for replying.
This model you mentioned, from aliexpress, theoretically doesn't need any changes to the wiring, right?
