I would like to use the motionwebcamplugin for the video transmission. But when I try to install it, I get a message saying that the Duet software framework is missing (see photo).

But since I don't want to switch everything to the framework (because I don't understand it), I wanted to find out if there is an easier way to integrate the video stream from motioneye into the DWC?

@axiom Whilst I cant say it might work. I did a similar thing with force installing the plugin on a different version of DSF.

@axiom are you running in SBC mode? If not then you wont be directly using motion from the DWC plugin as thats designed for motion being installed on the SBC along with DSF.

@T3P3Tony said in videostream without duet framework?:

...the DWC plugin as thats designed for motion being installed on the SBC along with DSF.

Note that the plugin simply starts motion. If you are not running SBC then you could run motion or some other video broker (like videostream (I am the author) on another computer and display the output in DWC. Of course you would have to manually start / stop the streaming service.

@stuartofmt Thank you for the answers, everything actually works if I simply copy the IP address from Motion....sadly my new raspberry 5 said goodbye after 1 hour...despite the expensive original fan and expensive power supply
