How can I increase the speed of my bed leveling (G29).

@axiom use a scanning Z probe, if the bed surface is compatible.

@dc42 Can't you adjust the speed somehow in g-code or in the macro?

Besides scanning probes, ypu can also consider ways to reduce the dependency on bed probing:

            • build a bed mount that allows for expansion at temp without warping (maxwell / kinematic mount)
            • build a machine with a fixed bed (delta / raising gantry which can be trammed with simple endstops)
            • use a bed with high thermal mass and a low coefficient of thermal expansion

@axiom yes you can change the speed in the M558 command that defines the probe. For conventional probing you can also reduce the dive height.

@axiom maybe provide more information with your question rather than just something generic
