What was once silent is now loud..
-
I used to have the printer running silently until I changed something in the firmware. Might've been current draw..
I don't recall what it was but suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Please post your config.g file.

Looks like micro-stepping interpolation is turned off - try turning it back on (use I1 in M350 instead of I0)

Don't feel bad, I did the exact same thing after updating my firmware from 1.16(-ish…) to the current release version, and was scratching my head for a bit before finding the flipped bit in the Interpolation config line.
This might have been a change implemented in the changes, and buried somewhere in the release notes?

@deckingman and @Hey_Allen are correct!
Made the suggested change and it's running silently again! Thank you!!!

What's are the benefits of enabling micrtostepping with interpolation other than keeping the noise down?

On delta printers, you may also get less moire. On other types of printer, probably no advantage.
