Setting z probe as z min/ z offset setup.

Hey, I am somewhat new to the duet firmware and have had some trouble getting instructions for setting up a bl touch as my z min endstop for homing. Also does anyone know what + or - on the z offset does what makes it lower and what makes is higher.
