Bad board Duet 3d Wifi
-
How do i get a RMA process with my new duet 3d Wifi Bord.
Only getting max 8v no matter if i use a 12v power supply from CR-10, Meanwell 12 V Power supply or a 400 watt Power supply.
Even changed over header cables and every thing.
Spent two night figuring out the issue and still no further forwards and i'm getting annoyed.
Also were is your telephone number on your site !!!!!

@mayhems where did you purchase the board from?
Regarding the issue - where are you measuring the voltage and what do you have plugged into the Duet?
-
Found the issue when you plug in the 7" LCD the voltage drops down to 8v meaning nothing will work, when removing the coloured wires its back up to normal 11.9v. So removed the colour wires and left them to the side.
Next problem i have is how do you wire in the EZABL ..
There is no easy answer and your help files are to complex to figure half of this out. On your own board you've been asked this a few times and no one has an answer. This is a common product used on a CR-10 for adjusting and bed levelling.
p.s got the board direct from duet3d main site.

I looked at the EZABL product page, and it looks like it is just an expensive capacitive or possible inductive sensor. If you provide the specifications of the output signal, we can tell you how to wire it.
-
What am i looking for, If you can point me in the right direction in plain English i can tell you.
Normally once it is close to the bed it simply turns on and that is it. Instead of Using the X stop switch you use this to home your printer. How ever the signal is very weak and your Led on your board (duet Wifi) only just flickers. So its ineffective.
Power to it is proved by a 5v USB line. As per on there site.
I have noticed you sell you own Led board and will look into that, seemingly every ware is out of stock of it. When will you be getting these back in ?
I don't think my Cr-10 can be called a CR-10 any more.

I wasn't able to find anything official saying as such, but there are other places online where it's referred to as inductive.

I presume you meant the Z endstop input.
It may be that it provides insufficient sink current to drive the endstop input LED. If that's the case, then it may work if it is connected to the Z probe input instead. But without more data I can't say whether that is safe to do and will work. If it is an open source design, please provide a link to the schematic. If it isn't, ask the supplier for the specification of the output signal. If they won't provide that, then the company doesn't deserve your custom (or anyone else's).

FWIW the EZABL is supposed to be capacitive but there are a couple versions of them. If you have the little PCB board from TH3D the output from that goes to the z-probe in. Ground and signal wires. You probably need to add I1 to the m558 command in your config.

I wired my EZABL to the zprobe pins:
