      Hi,

I have an old Paneldue (I think it's v1.1) with a 4.2" (or 4.3?) screen that I'd like to use as my RPi2/3 screen. Is there a way to do that ? Tried googling if anyone managed to do that with the 4 pin cable, but couldn't find anything.

      Thanks!

The 4 pin cable just has serial data, that is unique to Duet/PanelDue. If you wanted to use the LCD as a general purpose display on a raspberry pi, I actually did that as a project recently. 🙂

It's likely to be possible to connect the screen alone to the RPi, because I have seen similar screens advertised for connection to RPi.

Would you be so kind to share some more informtion about your project? I have a spare 4.3 PanelDue and would like to connect it ot the SBC to display some additional data.

Almost 2 years ago, so I don't remember details. You can interface them directly, in other words no components needed between them. I remember piecing everything together through Google and an evening.
