Nice, these look good! I got the ones I ordered and they work great, but might go for the carbon ones if I need upgrades on my 2nd printer. Thanks for letting me know!

RE: Fans vs Berd-Air
Since I have no experience with the smart effector yet, could someone help me out for a sec?
What I want to do right now, is to use two fan designs from thingiverse, each of them use 1x 40mm fan, so I can use my Noctua fans here. What I wonder is if the two designs listed below + 2x 40mm fans will work on the smart effector, or if it will generate too much weight and interrupt the auto-calibration?
I am really grateful for the discussions that happened in this thread, its all experiences that I try to absorb and incorporate into my ideas when improving my printer. Hope someone can give me a hint if the designs linked above has a chance of working. I haven't had the chance to print them yet, so I'm just trying to plan ahead.

RE: Fans vs Berd-Air
Great feedback here! Really nice to hear that there are silent cooling pump solutions, might try one of these at a later point. I'll go with fan cooling for now and reconsider Berd-Air if my print quality is less than expected.
Currently I think the 270 degree circular fan duct found here (Thingiverse) will work well.

Fans vs Berd-Air
I'm building a custom delta printer which is based on KosselXL and D300VS with some personal changes.
I was hoping people here could help me out, because I can't make up my mind about the cooling for the effector.
My initial plan was to use 2 Noctua 40x10 fans, 1 for part cooling with a tusk and 1 for cooling the hotend (E3D v6).
Now sitting with a bunch of Noctua fans, I start thinking about going for a Berd-Air instead. The reason why I want Berd-Air: Reduced weight on the Duet3d smart effector (minimize chance of failure during calibrating).
The reason why I dont want Berd-Air: My goal was always to maintain a quiet design for the printer, hence I planned on using Noctua fans.
I was hoping the community could help me out here, I don't want to compromise quality of the print just because I preffer a noise-free environment. But I dont know if either design is even better/worse than the other, as I've tested neither.

RE: Duet WiFi restock
Thank you both, I dont know how I missed this list before.
Parts ordered, and looking forward to an amazing upgrade! -
RE: Smart carriage adapter IGUS 20x15 holes
I have modified the original design in KiCAD to fit 20x15 but have never had them made. I can share that with you tonight if you want to have someone like OSHPark make them.
Wow, this sounds like exactly what I'm looking for!
I would appreciate if you share this with me, no need to rush it tho, I'm a patient guy. This should be it - https://github.com/limited660/DuetSmartEffector15x20
Looks great! I've ordered 3 of them now, never ordered services like this before, so its exciting to see the result

Duet WiFi restock
Hi, I started this massive upgrade for my printer, and I am i need of a Duet WiFi.
I was wondering if you could tell me an estimate of when it is back in stock?
Thanks in advance. -

Smart carriage adapter IGUS 20x15 holes
Hi, I'm a new user here, been working with my own modified version of a Kossel XL delta printer for a while now, started development over a year ago and built 3 of them so far.
I have a goal to achieve silent printing on one of them, in order to print in my bedroom while sleeping, and it has become quite an interesting hobby to optimize for this.I'm currently planning on a massive upgrade, moving on to a DuetWifi, magnetic rods and a Smart effector among other things.
My question is regarding the carriage adapter provided with the Smart effector.
I have upgraded to IGUS rails for more silent movement, and intend on sticking with these, but the carriage adapter is not compatible with the IGUS carriage (20x15 center holes, not the standard 20x20).Have you considered offering a modified adapter for these carriages?
I've looked into current solutions, some mentioned in another thread here (https://www.duet3d.com/forum/thread.php?id=4482),
but I am sceptical about the suggested solutions, and would much rather pay an additional fee to obtain original adapters designed for this carriage.I think these carriages are getting more popular, but I understand if the popularity is too limited to make it worth including in your service.
Looking forward for a response, thanks for your time.
