I found the article about Panel due and preview Prusa Slicer Thumbnails .
It is quite old and it was picked up but I cannot find any information
that it has finally been integrated.
What is the actual status? Was it integrated
Where can I find it.
I am used to work 90% with octoprint and this is a feature I newer want to miss again
and on DWC that is one of the features that should have been integrated for usability reasons.
Thank you in advance

RE: Ender3 Linear rail conv. ghosting layershift bad layerlines
Seeing all this different situations out of the geometry I would like to see how every single situation and the ghosting in relation to cornering sharpness accelleration straightness speet fits into the shown results.
Thanks in advance,
will add the M593 faktor to the pre-gecode and see if there ist an improvement

RE: Pressure Advance:Duet Wifi Ender 3 double print time
Thanks Ian
that just answered what I found during research .It is really a shame, such a super piece of hardware and no way of getting the total print time out of it.
I am working and building octoprint servers, There it is a feature ever there since I can think;
even more with the "print time genius" plugin you get more precise predictions of print time already during print, so if you change parameters on Slicer even if not printed to the end you already can predict total print time

RE: Ender3 Linear rail conv. ghosting layershift bad layerlines
so now after going through my other post Pressure advance and print time and adjusted all paramters so I now get reasonable results in print time but still getting ringing artefacts
arround corners AND on straight lines.
I strongly belive that the motor current produces a resonance!
Therfore I reduced Motor current to 1000mA again because I see at 80mm/s and have still resonance in the x and y directionadditional with no ringing compensation on, measured 3mm peak to peak an 80mm/s speed, so I applied 26,6 Hz
M593 F26.60 ; cancel ringing at perimeter 80mm/s/3mm=26,6, Hz Dynamic Acceleration Adjustment (DAA)
result: NO noticable enhancement and reduction auf oscillation (ringing) at all!
on all Axis still remaining the same 3mm the ringing is because of the heavier bed as expected more noticable on the x axis than vice versa,
any idea what still causes the ringing even if 593 applied?

RE: Pressure Advance:Duet Wifi Ender 3 double print time
Total Print time!!:
again I was searching for the total "true" time of the print.
all research in the forum ended with no such simple and absoltuly necessary found.
Do I miss something if yes please tell me how to find total print times,
to have a comparison print time wise between variation of printing and driving parameters. -
RE: Pressure Advance:Duet Wifi Ender 3 double print time
Went back to PA .55-.6 with 1.3 the corners and other edges went totally crap
with upping all the jerk and acceleration settings like Chris it looks very promising in print time and visuable print quality now
I reduced motor current on x and y to 1000mA I have crazy oscillations on x axis at high speed .
if the print now turns good on print quality with 80mm/s, I will return to to the
;M593 F40.0 ; cancel ringing at 40.0Hz Dynamic Acceleration Adjustment (DAA)
for improving the ringing arround the edges.
on the last print with 1200mA current I could seedifferent oscillations visualized on long straight x edges, at last print, it seems that the high motor current
gets into a resonance frequency at high speed double the peak distance than cornering frequency.Question: is there an other setting for frequencys on reprap controlling (not DAA), frequencys of high speed?

RE: Pressure Advance:Duet Wifi Ender 3 double print time
@jay_s_uk
Thank you for that information,
I have the same stock lenght but replaced the extruder with a full metal and dual driven gears.
As I can remember, I have set up a test via Prusa gcode settings vary every n-layers of height
going through all values of PA up to 1.0I was pretty sure to pick .55 on purpose but right now I have found Chris Basment youtube video about pressure advance and his value is as well 1.3.
so without further considerations I will setup PA to 1.3
and
also found Chris settings especial tuned to the ender 3 with much higher Jerk and accelerations
and go on testing from this pointP.S.:(shocking for me was Chris motor current settings on x and y of 500mA) way too low considering my other post with layer shift!

Pressure Advance:Duet Wifi Ender 3 double print time
I have printed a shell on different printers all the same parameters in prusa except different Printer with different hardware and this one with duet wifi.
So all printing parameter remain the same except the printer specificprinttime difference:
other printers 8-9 hours
Ender 3 Duet wifi
about 17 hours!!!!!The only thing I can see is Pressure Advance on the duet wifi.
What I can see by eye during movement it seems the speed is as on the other printer, but
sometimes it nearly comes to a halt (I think at layer change)Does anybody have experiences with "Pressure Advance" take massiv more print time!?

RE: Ender3 Linear rail conv. ghosting layershift bad layerlines
little update
I have downloaded a jerk and acceleration test like teaching tech expalins
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mnvj6xCzikM
and have just printed with 1200mA instead of 800mAsame strong belt tension as before (tested this after)
and at least with the testobject and in relation with what I see in his video my print looks pretty good better than in the video.
So as i directly cannot compare (for that I have to print the same housing again) its seems
that upping the amps has done a good job,
try to upload some images but a movie would be better! Is there anybody out there who can explain why upping the current my lead to this better
result of barly seing ghosting better and consistant layerthickness (but, the test body was only 1 permeter no infill( so there are other things to consider in a closesd filled body!? -
RE: Ender3 Linear rail conv. ghosting layershift bad layerlines
Good point !
I checked all the rolers on the belt tensioners and there are toothed rollers as it should be .
I double checked every axis if there isn't any rubbing or continous massive oscilation or vibration when I move the bed or the x-axis,Though you gave me a very important advise:
The rollers were correct but
what I found out by reducing the belt tension the oscilation of the bed and x-axis could be reduced to a very smooth movment farliy noticable belt drive any more.so conlcution: it seems that the belts where maybe too tight, but
they feel now so sluggish that I get probably other negativ effects.
If I titen them to my exprience like all my other printers the result is like shown,
on my other printers I do have the same pretention and I can feel the belt oscilating effect
of the teeth but get inspite of that perfect surfaces.
