Printer is configured and operates normally and has for a while, however, there have been some intermittent issues lately while performing bed mapping. The cycle will run a few rows of probing and then popup error with:
"Response Timeout: CAN addr 121, red type 4012, RID=61"
"Response Timeout: CAN addr 121, red type 6037, RID=62"
"Response Timeout: CAN addr 121, red type 4012, RID=63"

Once this happens, the hot end thermistor shows 2000c degrees and the BL touch is flashing and will not respond to pin commands. I have swapped out the thermistor and BL for new parts and the error persists.

Is this most certainly an intermittent break in the CANH or CANL wires or could something be happening with the BL or tool board itself to cause this?

I have built a second machine using the same hardware and config file as the first machine and the X and Y axis move opposite than they did on the first. Swapped the drive directions easy enough but I'm curious why this would be.

Same model Duet board, same model LDO steppers, same config file, same firmware level on both boards. Using off the shelf stepper leads and wired new machine steppers same as old machine.

Other than possibly LDO changing the steppers between the two builds, any other thoughts on what could cause this?

I am going to clean up the wiring on my machine and have been looking at the nifty IGUS bundled cables. My question relates to having 4 stepper wires within the same cable as 2 limit switch wires. Also, 8 wires for two different steppers within the same cable. Is this advisable or should these be kept in their own separate bundled cables?

@t3p3tony Slice thermistor and settings work on temp1 plug. It is now within .5c of the bed thermistor. Does this mean the temp0 plug is faulty you think?

On a side note: I installed a cheap thermistor and used:

M308 S1 P"121.temp0" Y"thermistor" T100000 B3950

and now it shows 399C

I have a Duet3 Mini 5+ and Toolboard 1LC v1.1 with Slice 300c thermistor. Webcontrol shows the temperature at 322c while the heater is sitting at ambient.

My config.g heater section is:

I have also tried this setting from the Slice website:

When the thermistor is unplugged Webcontrol reports temperature at 110c:

I have tried calibrating the ADCs by running M308 Snn H999 and M308 Snn L999. L command seems to run ok but the H command always gives an error.

I am out of ideas. I have updated firmware. I have triple checked the wires (about 4" long) and the pin crimps. All other devices (stepper, BLTouch, fans) work without issue.

1LC firmware was 3.3beta2+2 when I started and is now 3.4.0beta6
