@phaedrux yes, even when connected to usb on the PC.
Here´s the back of the 7i panel.
The panel was purchased from Filafarm Germany on Jan 13. -

Paneldue 7i remains dark
Ok, I'm following this great forum for a few months now. So yes, I pretty much searched the entire forum for clues on how to remedy this error.
I am running a Duet2 wifi on an Ender 5+. First I bought a BTT E3 but then I decided to get the "real mccoy" because of R&D and credit where credit is due reasons.
Back to topic: I was able to flash the Paneldue successfully including testing using my pc and bossa. (Tried PanelDue-5.0i-7.0i.bin as well as PanelDueFirmware-3.4.0-7.0i.bin)
But after connecting it via the ribbon cable to socket CONN_SD on the Duet2 wifi the display remains dark. Dark, not white like backscreen light ON.
As unlikely as it seems but I have no other guess than that the unit is somehow defective.
I need the advice/ok from an admin in order to trigger an RMA process. But maybe that will be rendered obsolete because someone has an idea on how to bring the unit to life?
Appreciate any help
