    • First layer after remachining delta parts

So, my first layer looked alllllllmost exactly like this before i reworked my entire delta 3d printer to try and get rid of the effector tilt.

I squared up by bed to my towers as best i could, one of them is slightly off but i got it closer. I think the bed isn't flat or is warped or something.

I remachined the carriage tops that the magballs attach to and machined a fixture to align the balls to within +-.002” of eachother.
I machined new magball effector attachments as well and machined a fixture to align them to the same position and tollerance.
I made a fixture to ensure all pieces are flat to eachother as well.

I machined 3 “C” channels that i clamp to the effector to measure tilt and parallelism to the bed.
It’s dead nuts perfect in 4 out of 6 positions (near tower, away from tower x3) and the 2 positions are near the tower where the bed seems to have issues.

Made fixtures for new magball rods for the same tolerance and for repeatability.

Got a bullseye bubble level and found the effector is dead nuts, pretty much no tilt.

Ran a mesh bed level and what used to be +-1-2mm out is now .02mm out max. Mostly in the known problem area.

      Good.

Then i run a first layer test and i get inconsistent extrusion, its decent in some areas and underextruded in others. Also, my solid infill and shells are not connected and i cant seem to change a setting that will change this.

Any help would be appreciated to help me dial this in. 83CE7908-EA3F-4CBB-9309-C58050F52F37.jpeg
