      Thanks for the help...I actually got it working now. This time I only commented the M558 line out

    • Wanhao Duplicator i3 with Duet 3 Mini 5+

      Close to a year ago I acquired the complete but not working Wanhao Duplicator i3 and subsequently got the Duet 3 Mini 5+ board for it. None of my LCDs would work due to being ST7920 based.

      The project gathered dust up until very recently when I decided to get an RPi and run Klipper. A few hiccups along the way but nothing too serious but I do find the 2 Z-axis screws to get out of sync very easily. I got a MicroProbe V2 for more consistent Z-homing but also to allow for auto gantry leveling.

      It's plugged into the zstop port.
      I thought that the M574 would take care of it

      @alankilian

      Yes, every time. I tried a normal closed switch now then it shows Z is stopped.

      However it still seems to think there is a Z probe as well which is stopped.

      How to I get rid of the Z probe altogether?

      @fcwilt I took out the lines

      ; Z-Probe
      M558 P8 H0 F120 T6000 ; disable Z probe but set dive height, probe speed and travel speed
      M557 X25:185 Y25:185 S30 ; define mesh grid

      Still the same M119 result.

      What am I missing? I am totally new to RepRap as I have been using Marlin for the past 7 years

    • RE: Z endstop switch issue

      @fcwilt No I only have a switch.

      and M119 gives me this:
      M119 Endstops - X: at min stop, Y: at min stop, Z: not stopped, Z probe: at min stop

      Do I actually just have to remove the Z-0Probe "section"

    • Z endstop switch issue

      Hi all. I have searched and searched, and unless I am not searching right or missing the right posts I can't find the solution to my specific problem.

      I actually have a Fly RRF E3 board but using some the Duet firmware and so on. I followed Teaching Tech's Youtube video and it helped me get past other issues I had at first, as the video explains putting this board on a Prusa (I have a clone) and not an Ender 3.

      The Z endstop switch is a plain normally open switch.

      I have tried both
      M558 P1 H0 F120 T6000
      and
      M558 P3 H0 F120 T6000

      X and Y homes perfectly, Z does move up and down when I move it manually. But Z only lifts when I try to home it. It does not even try to home.

      Any help will be highly appreciated as I am getting very frustrated with this board after coming from Marlin

      Here is my config.g:
