Yes, transferring gcode. Best I can get is with one of my Maestro's. I just did a test comparison.
155Mb gcode file:
Pi 3B+ = 29 seconds.
Maestro = 3 minutes, 18 seconds.On my Duet ethernet, it would probably be a bit slower. The Maestro shows roughly 780kbps or so speeds.
It's certainly not a deal breaker by any means, but it would be convenient to have Pi like speeds. I know that most likely won't happen for a long time.

Next generation DUET hardware
I may have missed it, but is the next generation of DUET hardware currently on the drawing board yet? Specifically, are there any plans to make transfer speeds faster? I love everything about the duet platform, but man are the transfer speeds SLOW in comparison to other offerings, like octopi.
