RE: PNP Z-probe connections....
@dc42 Thanks, i've installed 2 new resistors, think i missed me on the color code before, now i'm using 1 of 10K and 1 of 30K, works perfectly, got 3 volts when triggered and 0 when not triggered

PNP Z-probe connections....
Hey guys,
New here, and i'm a noob when it comes down to electronics, i know how to solder and stuff, but i don't know anything about resistance etc...
i've been looking all afternoon on how to wire my Zprobe.... i'm scared to do it, cause i found different solutions....i'm using a IME08-2N5PSZT0S that i want to connect to the Duet2Wifi. I've found this connection diagram, it's for the NPN, i'm using PNP.
I read the explanation on the site link text
I don't know where to start, do i really need the output to be at 3v? in the text is says says it can handle up to 30volts...
i managed to reduce the voltage to 3volts when it's triggered, but when it's not triggered it's 8-9 volts...
How does the IN knows the sensor is triggered, can anyone provide me a simple drawing how to hook it up, which resistors, and what values it supose to have triggered and not triggered? that would be very helpfull, i don't want to fry this board, it's awesome! Thanks in advance
