@Runar said in PNP Z-probe connections....:

Hi, borrow the post.

I have updated to Duet2Wifi and want to connect but NPN (no) sensor. I also upgraded from 12V to 24V PSU. I have used the sensor at 12V PSU and have a 15k ohms in series and bridge with 10k ohms between signal cable and ground. With 12v I get 3V from the signal cable and of course at 24v I get 6V. When the sensor is activated then everything goes down to 0V in both cases.

To be on the safe side can I use this or do I have to solder everything again but with the right resistance? Do I then connect the signal cable to "Z probe in" and brown to + and blue to - just like the picture but withou Schottky diode ?

Please read the wiki page on connecting Z probes. It covers NPN sensors and many other types.
