    • RE: Wiring a PV Cable from a Mafell Router into the Duet?

@Danal Thanks for the advice, I have just found some more information directly from Mafell which may help!

      • if not connected, the machine operates manually via the potentiometer wheel
      • for connecting to external speed control, please use the M8/4-pin interface

Upv = basic power supply (8-56V)
      Us = speed control (0-10V)
Uo = no entry (this is a signal from the motor to the router on overload = same information as LED)
GND = reference to Upv (same as + and -)

Thanks for the help, I have a 0-10v PWM unit I will try to use, although I'm having difficulty sourcing a wiring diagram for the Mafell Portal Control which is a nightmare, I believe it's fairly straight forward to define a 12V fan connection as a new tool, Will need to research the coding a bit more!

    • Wiring a PV Cable from a Mafell Router into the Duet?

Has anyone tried to wire up a PV Cable from the Mafell FM1000 PV Units and its RPM be controlled through the Duet at all? What would be involved in configuring the PV cable for the Duet would the connectors need to be crimped and connected to a fan output terminal? Any advice would be appreciated!

    • Duet Controller Fuses

Wondering the best place to source the Fuses for the Duet to have as replacements for when they blow out! Also, I noticed on a few the of the controllers the Fuses are different can it be confirmed all the Fuses need for the Duet to operate? Thanks in advance.

    • RE: Connecting to Wifi Network after Access Point enabled.

@droftarts Thanks again for your input Ian, I will give this a try tomorrow with our Customer and see how we get on! Out of curiosity what program do you have the Duet open in? We mainly use YAT is that the best Terminal Emulator to use? Look forward to hearing from you,

    • RE: Connecting to Wifi Network after Access Point enabled.

Thanks again Ian for the quick reply, I will Teamviewer our Customer and try the method you have mentioned, so to confirm the commands to configure the Wifi Network would they conflict with an existing Access Point Parameter?

As our Customer is currently set up in that mode working fine but we are unable to get them back onto their home Wifi? Would your method work or is there something I'm missing?

    • RE: Connecting to Wifi Network after Access Point enabled.

Hi Ian, Thanks for your reply! I will give that another go waiting 10 seconds inbetween sending the M Commands, that is the process I went through, It was my understanding that M552 S3 Stops the Module Completly and David showed me this at the 3D Meetup a few months back.

At Ooznest we have had a few controllers with the same issue, have you seen anything wrong with the Wifi Module that causes this or is it complete user error?
