    • YAT Command Issues

      Hey Guys,

I recently changed my router, SSID, and password and as a result need to update my DUET Wifi with the new information.

I am able to find my board through device manager and connect to it through YAT:

I am running into an issue when I try to send any commands to the board. This is what is returned when I enter the 1st command "M115":

      Any ideas?

    • RE: Panel Due - Blank Screen

I continued working on the panel today and measured various voltages to make sure the panel was getting power. With no panel attached I measured the following at a few pins:

      3.3V: 3.292V
      5V: 4.633V
      LED_A: 3.245V

With the panel attached - the LED_A voltage dropped - presumambly normal as the screen acts as a resitor

      3.3V: 3.285V
      5V: 4.478V
      LED_A: 0.305V

I held the erase button for 10 seconds followed by a press and release of the reset button and booted up "BOSSA" instead of the Command Prompt. Running through this provided me with a new error: "SAM-BA operation failed" [A screen shot is at the following link]

      https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzrZTS44KHYxaWtGOUJiUmFwVzA

After receiving the SAM-BA Operation failed message, I went back to command prompt and ran through the same process as I original did - and received a "verify successful" message again, but still no response from the PanelDue.

Any other suggestions on troubleshooting before I send the panel back?

      Thanks,

      Simon W.

    • RE: Panel Due - Blank Screen

      Hello all,

I tried erasing the firmware - and reloading it following DC42's instructions. I am still not getting anything - not even a glow - from the LCD panel.

Any idea's on what I could potentially be doing incorrectly?

    • Panel Due - Blank Screen

      Hello,

I have my duet wifi up and running- and am now starting focus on my 7'' PanelDue. I have erased the board - reset it, and checked the communications port [COM8]:

      https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzrZTS44KHYxaW1reFpJUFFTZUk

I ran Bossac through Command Prompt and get a successful message. However, the USB 3.0 port will not power on the screen in any way - nor will the duet wifi when plugged into the controller.

I seem to be missing something here - any suggestions on what to try next?

      Thanks,

      Simon W.

    • RE: Firmware 1.19 Upgrade - No Known Network Found

I was able to get the Macro to work - and am now receiving a "Bad IP address" error that could be the root of my issues. Any suggestions as to what would cause this?
      M98 P/macros/SetNetwork
      Bad IP address<lf>ok</lf>

      Thank-you,

    • Firmware 1.19 Upgrade - No Known Network Found

      Hello,

I recently purchased a Wifi Duet and am in the process of updating all of the firmware before installing into my printer. I have installed the program "YAT" and have followed the instructions posted here: https://duet3d.com/wiki/Upgrading_to_DuetWiFiFirmware_1.19 but am still facing challenges.

I have added all three files - appropriately renamed and enter the M997 S0:1 command and the Duet successfully reboots. I then enter the command "M98 P/macros/SetNetwork" and receive an error that the macro file is not found.

Since the macro did not work - I entered the commands through YAT and the following appears on the terminal:

      M552 S0
      ok <lf>G4 P1000
      ok <lf>M587 S"networkname" P"networkpassword"
      ok</lf></lf>

I check that the network has been stored by entering the command "M587" and get the following return:

      M587
      Remembered networks:<lf>correctnetworkname<lf>ok</lf></lf>

I then proceed to try and connect using "M552 S1" and receive the following message:

      M552 S1
ok<lf>WiFi reported error: no known networks found<lf>Wifi module is idle</lf></lf>

I have confirmed several times that the network name spelling is correct and the password is correct. I have tried use the M588 S"networkname" to erase the network and attempted to re-add. I receive the same error message every time.

      M115 shows the following:
      m115
      FIRMWARE_NAME: RepRapFirmware for Duet WiFi FIRMWARE_VERSION: 1.19.2 ELECTRONICS: Duet WiFi 1.0 FIRMWARE_DATE: 2017-09-01<lf>ok</lf>

Since I am new to this controller - I am wondering if there is an obvious step that I am missing. Can anyone provide insight into what I should try next?

      Thank-you,
