@TechButterfly said in Printer suddenly running very slowly:

@dc42 I am using prusaslicer, but I do have multiple configs and sometimes forget which one I'm supposed to be using - I will check for what units it's using. Thanks!

In Prusaslicer there is an option for how to use the acceleration and speed settings that you configure. Set it to use those figures to estimate print time but not to write them to the GCode file.

Whew! Figured it out - had to go to the plugins tab and start Motion Webcam Server. All working now.

I might eventually want to change over to using this camera for timelapses, but for now this will work.

      Thanks for the help!

In this case with so many files it's likely going to be faster and easier to just pop the SD card into your PC and transfer them that way.

With conditional gcode now, it would probably be possible to replace the huge number of files with a script.

I figured it out. Had to add T0 to the end of the config.g file.

@fcwilt Okay. Thanks again for all your help getting my printer going. @Phaedrux too. I’ll open a new topic for the filament sensor stuff if I can’t find the answer with search.

@techbutterfly said in How to define bed location and size?:

Or is the solution the other option you mentioned - define the bed as X-30 on the left side?

      Yes.

@infiniteloop Thanks - the culprit is the connection to my CR Touch. I'll need to take another look at how I have it hooked up. With it disconnected, the voltage is correct, and my endstops are working. Thanks for the guidance!

@phaedrux You were right, the CR Touch had failed. I ordered a new one this afternoon and just got it. NOW when the probe is deployed, it reads 0, except when triggered, then it reads 1000. I can see the status change in DWC.

After changing the homez.g file to reflect what the docs say it needs for BL Touch, everything is now working as it should - at least as far as motors, endstops, and z probe go. I need to get the steps per mm set and then start playing with the hot stuff.

Again, thanks so much for your help! I really appreciate it.

If I run into issues with the heaters I'll start a new thread.

In that case, start here: https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Machine_configuration/SBC_setup

It is still a good idea to get it going in standalone mode first to confirm the board is working and to update the firmware to the latest.
