    • RE: Auto tune cancelled because target temperature was not reached

@dc42 Thank you for catching that I corrected M305.
I found the cause of my problem, the heat block was tight against the heatsink. I went back and looked at the Titan Aero assembly instructions and saw a picture of it ( Thank God for pictures).

They should put something in their instructions for dummies like me.

Everything auto tuned perfectly and have it set up in the firmware.

Now on to the rest of the setup, Thanks for being here for us newby's

    • Auto tune cancelled because target temperature was not reached

I am pulling my hair out with this and sure it must be something wrong in the gcode. My hotend does not heat up vast fast therefore i get "Auto tune cancelled because target temperature was not reached". I have checked the heater cartridge it is 4.3 ohms which according to my searches is correct. I have 12.3 volts constantly to the cartridge.
My thermister matches within 2deg of the reading from my Klein meter and thermister.

I have even tried another heat cartridge and thermister with the same results.

Could someone please enlighten me as to what Iam doing wrong. I have Googled and read until my eyes are poping out.

Any help in a direction to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

      Thank you in advance

    • RE: Z axes doing a weird thing.

I am sorry, I figured it out today. My lead screws were way out of adjustment and binding the build plate.
All stepper motors work good. Now on to getting the end switches working lol.

Sorry to take up your time.

I am using a Duet wifi, upper right corner of the wiring diagram it says Drive 2 then you have option A - 1- Z motor and Option B- 2-Z motors in series .

Hold on I just noticed the wiring color connections on the board are not the same as on my steppers. Let me change that and will get back to you.

      Thanks

    • Z axes doing a weird thing.

I have a d-bot machine which I think is a core X-Y. X and Y work great. The Z axes actually jogs from one side to the other. In other words when I move the Z axes one stepper turns then the other turns, they both don"t turn at the same time. I have searched for answers but have found nothing.
Again Thank you for any help.
