    Does anyone have any idea when the expansion boards will be a valuable? I want to use 3 z motors, and dual extruders.

    Or maybe someone will know how to adapt existing boards to work?

      @mattbaker We are targeting November for a pre production run to sync in with the wider availability of the Duet 3 6HC mainboard.

        @T3P3Tony Is there a way to link a Duet Ethernet to the V3?

          @mattbaker no - they use CAN-FD to connect.

          The core elements of the Duet 2 Family (The Duet 2 Wifi/Ethernet and the Duex5) are not compatible with the core elements of the Duet 3 family (The Duet 3 Mainboard(s), Expansion board(s) and Tool board(s)).

          Things like the Temperature Daughter-boards, the smart effector and filament monitors are compatible between families.

            @T3P3Tony

            Do you intend on adding pt100 functionality on the tool boards?

              Only if an OEM asks for it, because the concept tool board already supports PT1000. Adding PT100 support would increase the cost significantly.
