Duet gen 3 Voltage and fuse questions

I note that Vin for the main board is 32V max. Can someone just confirm that this max voltage will also apply to any and all expansion boards. The reason for asking is that I'm thinking of using a 24V DC UPS and these things require the PSU voltage to be set to 27.9 v to charge the UPS battery.

I want to use fuses that are of more appropriate ratings to the peripherals that I have connected to both the main board and the expansion boards. (I use a mains bed heater via an SSR and only one expansion board has a hot end heater and that's only 40 Watt). Can someone confirm that the fuses are what are commonly know as "mini" blade fuses (as opposed to micro, standard or maxi).
Thanks

I'm not sure that's a good idea without a regulator between the PSU and boards. Depending on the charge state of the battery
the voltage could fluctuate . Whether that would be enough to cause issues I'm not sure.- I want to use fuses that are of more appropriate ratings to the peripherals that I have connected to both the main board and the expansion boards. They are "mini"

- Yes for the current expansion boards. Future expansion options may have different max voltages.

@gtj0 Thanks for your concern but it should be fine - the charge circuit is separate (and limited). Here is the data sheet https://www.meanwell.com/Upload/PDF/DR-UPS40/DR-UPS40-SPEC.PDF
and here is the PSU https://www.meanwell-web.com/content/files/pdfs/productPdfs/MW/SDR-240/SDR-240-spec.pdf

@T3P3Tony Thanks Tony. I guess I could always fit a regulator if needed.

Ah. Good deal!
