Chamber Temperature and Macros on RRF3 with PanelDue
-
Hey guys,
in my CorEssentials 3D printer project I use a PanelDue7i it I want to customise it just a little bit.
Maybe someone of you can tell me, if this is possible. At the moment I run a Duet Maestro with 2 additional steppers and the mentioned PanelDue 7i. I am running RRF3 RC1.
First of all: will there be an update to the PanelDue Firmware to make the layout a bit more similar to DWC 2.0?
I want to change 2 things on my Panel:
- I want to add the Value of the Chamber Temp Sensor (it is a passivly controlled chamber, meaning: heated by bed and a fan extracts hot air according to an ambient temperature sensor)
- I want to have "quick access" to my most used macros
I was thinking of something like shown in the picutre:
Does someone have suggestion to solve this?

Chamber temps are still not currently supported on the PanelDue. But maybe soon?
The quick macros should already work though. If you have macro files in the base macro folder they should show up there. You can name them 0_macro, 1_macro, 2_macro, 3_macro to order them. Or are you saying that you have macros but they don't show up when using 3.x?
What PanelDue firmware version?

Sorry.
I think I have not been totally clear.
The macros all show up correctly if I hit tap the "MACRO" button on the PanelDue.
But I want to have them accessible from the "start screen" without unsing the "macro button".Regarding the chamber heater:
I read that in the forum, but the last post I found was from mit 2018 so I though there was maybe some progresse I did not find.Tahnks foru your help!

They should show up on the main control tab as well.

Interesting...this does Not Work For me.
I named the Marcos properly. Maybe I have to Check the Firmware Version in the Paneldue.
Merry Christmas

EDIT:
I have Firmware Version 1.17 on my PanelDue and will Upgrade to the latest. The macros are only supported from 1.20 in.
