      Hi Danal,
Thanks so much. It looks like only the main UK outlet has the Duet3D 6HC. Do you happen to know or have contact that can tell me if the board is the 1.0 Version?
I placed an order today for the Pi4 and the screen you suggested.
      Next is the Duet3D...
The help here has been superior!
      Jim

            Hello Gentleman,
Thanks again for sharing and for your great comments. The 7" screen arrived yesterday as did the CanaKit Raspberry Pi 4. Interesting it includes a small fan about 1" square for the Pi4. Yet, having trouble finding a screen case for the Jun-Electon 7" HD HDMI screen? Does anyone know if it fits the RPi4 7" screen case?
            Cheers
            Jim

For UK folk I've this screen on my ebay watch list which looks similar, but not identical.

Getting a little twitchy about the recommended PSU for the Raspberry Pi 4B being 3A, the screen being 2A, and the max external draw from the Duet3 being 3A, so I've also got a USB current meter on order. Suspect there is head room in both screen and Raspberry Pi advised PSU ratings, but I won't really know what the Pi can draw until I get it slicing and working hard! The draw on the screen shouldn't be much higher than playing some YouTube videos though...

@DocTrucker You can always power the RPi from a separate supply if you get desperate.

@deckingman I am considering that. Alas it will likely mean a UK socket mounted in the electrickery box, don't fancy trying to wire a USB C plug!

Modify the wiring going from duet 3 to the pi. Apply the power to the header rather than using the USB-C

@DocTrucker For info, I haven't used the ribbon cable from the Duet to the RPi. Just connected the data pins and a couple of gnds. Then used an external 5V psu to power the RPi etc. Having said - I've now disconnected it and the RPi just sits there unconnected waiting for someone to come up with something useful for it to do. ☺

I'm running the Ribbon D3>Pi. I'm running a 7" touchscreen, and a camera. The camera has been swapped several times (experimenting with tool-to-tool alignment). At the moment it is a Logitech C270. It has been a 'microscope' with its own LED ring illuminators around the lense.

No signs of power stress. Have printed for 5 and 10 hours at a time, toolchanging all the way...

@Danal yes I remember your comment on a very similar thread. I am probably being over cautious and the recommended power supplies are likely over specced.

I suspect things draw a lot less than we think. Manufacturers tend to rate draw as the absolute max.
