    Hi
I fixed different problems on my Saphire Plus with your help in these days, now I have a strange problem in my print quality and maybe can be related on a motor noise and vibration.
Before install my duet, I was printing with a mks board and tmc2208 and my motors works very silent, now not.
This is my motor model 17HS4401S
    Nema17 Bipolar.
    Number of Phase: 2.
    Step Angle: 1.8°.
    Phase Voltage: 2.6Vdc.
    Phase Current: 1.7A.
    Resistance: 1.5Ω ±10%.
    Inductance: 2.8mH ±20% (1KHz).
Number of Wire: 4 (100cm Length).
    Holding Torque: 43N.cm.
    Shaft Diameter: Ø5mm.
    Motor Length: 40mm.
    Mass: 290g.

    This is my conf:

    ; Drives
    M569 P0 S1 ; physical drive 0 goes forwards
    M569 P1 S1 ; physical drive 1 goes forwards
    M569 P2 S1 ; physical drive 2 goes forwards
    M569 P3 S0 ; physical drive 3 goes forwards
    M584 X0 Y1 Z2 E3 ; set drive mapping
    M350 X16 Y16 Z16 E16 I1 ; configure microstepping with interpolation
    M92 X80.00 Y80.00 Z400.00 E415.00 ; set steps per mm
    M566 X600 Y600 Z60 E600 ; Maximum jerk in mm/min
    M203 X12000 Y12000 Z1200 E2500 ; set maximum speeds (mm/min)
    M201 X800 Y800 Z60 E1200 ; set accelerations (mm/s^2)
M906 X800 Y800 Z800 E800 I30 ; set motor currents (mA) and motor idle factor in per cent
    M84 S30 ; Set idle timeout

What can I do to reduce motor vibration and noise?
    Thanks

@Dav The motors are rated at 1.7Amps so try setting the current to 85% of that (1400mA) and see if that helps.

        @deckingman hi
Today I received new stepper motors for another printer, I tried to install them:

        Technical info:
        -Manufacturer: LDO
        -Model: LDO-42STH47
        -Holding Torque: 5.5 kg/cm - 76oz-in
        -Shaft: 5mm
        -Voltage rating: 3.1V
        -Stepping angle:1.8 degrees
        -Current rating: 2.5A/Phase
        -Connector type: JST PH-6

So I see max current 2.5, what's the right current? Right now with same configuration of 800 print better than other motors but I hear a little noise and vibration.

@Dav Look at the rated current section in the Duet documentation here https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Choosing_and_connecting_stepper_motors
