Duet2 Wifi new a little problem.
-
Hello. On April 21, 2020, I purchased a Duet2 Wifi from Spool3D (Order # 200603992) Calgary. I notified Derek by Mail that I had a problem heating the bed and the hotten. I attach the video link as he asked me to explain the problem as best as possible. Regarding the configuration I used the configuration of Gueroloco (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCRS9N7dYjc&t=676s) one can modify only for the speed of the home. (I already have another on another printer that works wonderfully)
Here is the You Tube link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPHPKv4wM6c&t=17s)
I post to the Duet3D forum to get approval for a warranty replacement according.Thank you!
Have a good day.

@Boull I think you need to update the firmware on your new Duet. The config.g file you linked to is for RepRapFirmware 3, but the Duet is probably using RepRapFirmware 2. Send M115 to the Duet and post the reply.
This is not a warranty issue, it's a configuration issue.

@Boull Did you watch my video?

Can you post the config.g you're trying to use?
And just to confirm, both of the boards in your video are running RRF v3.0?
-
@Boull Yes, I watched your video. And downloaded the zip file you said you were using. This is the config.g that was in it, that is for RepRapFirmware 3:

Another video showing where the panel's faults are. If this is not proof of manufacturing defects I do not understand. This card is new. Thank you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfM8fuSDoCw

Yes that definitely looks like a loose solder joint on the screw terminal. Would you be able to provide a close up photo of that as well as both sides of the board? The video is very low resolution and often blurry. A photo would be appreciated.
Please contact Spool3D and refer them to this thread as approval for a warranty replacement.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

@Phaedrux Haaa !! Thank you sir, I did not want to have a bad adventure with Duet because I want to buy 2 others for future projects. Thank you very much and I am contacting Spool3D thank you and have a good evening !!
