Duet3 - enhanced PanelDue experience
-
I stumbled upon a video yesterday of a Duet3 with a panel due - the panel due was displaying the bed med leveling result - and some more advanced features
I cannot find anything on this, is it possible it was a bespoke development
Cheers in advance

Maybe useful to share the video?

@elmoret I have been unable re-find it....that's why I am asking here
Apparently it is called Standalone Mode
Trying to find out if Duet2 Wi-Fi supports this
Cheers

AFAIK, standalone mode mean that instead of the Duet connecting to a wifi network, the Duet sets up its own network. You can then connect to this network with your pc, laptop, raspberry pi, you get the idea. It is very likely that what you saw was not actually the PanelDue, but another touchscreen, perhaps connected to a Pi or something similar that was displaying plain old DWC.

I'm pretty sure you saw a 7" HDMI panel running DWC.

Stand alone means without the RPi and yes, you can connect a PanelDue just like Duet2.

Perhaps you saw this?

Or more likely it was a Duet 3 connected to an touch screen display running the full web interface in a browser window on a Pi?
