i have a cr 10 with duet wifi 2 and v.3 bl touch. my wiring is correct and i have everything working so far. all macros fies. deploy, retract self test alarm pin up all work fine.but when i do the self test it only does it for about 10 secounds and stops on its own. also the z probe always reads 1000. ive deployed the probe and try running the g30 and it just says z probe already triggered. tried multiple ways and done multiple troubleshoots but nothing is helping. ive been troubleshooting for months and still no luck. please help.
running duet web control v3.1 and v2.0.5 firmware. for some reason im having a ton of trouble doing a complete update and cant figure that out either but thats another topic/thread.

You have to invert probe signal, so add I1 to M558 command

when i do the self test it only does it for about 10 secounds and stops on its own.

That's normal now with recent BLtouches.

You have to invert probe signal, so add I1 to M558 command

That shouldn't be the case, but the error would indicate that, so give it a shot, but then I worry that it won't actually trigger.

ive deployed the probe and try running the g30

You don't need to deploy the probe before the G30, the G30 should take care of that itself when using probe type P9.

You need to update to 3.0 first before you can go to 3.1.1
Send M115 to see what firmware is actually currently installed.
Send M98 P"Config.g" and report back what errors you get.

thats what i meant. wont let me update to 3.0 to 3.1.1. but with the bl touch its still saying its already triggered everytime im issuing G30. and every other macro file ive set up works properly. does anyone see something wrong with my config thats not allowing it to work whe i issue G30

@aidar you were right. now every aspect of testing works except when i run the g30 it deploys but it does not trigger when the pin is pressed. so when i issue the g30. it deploys and triggers but just starts flashing and doesnt stop moving the motors.

@smithj0shua9371 said in duet 2 wifi bl touch trouble..plz help?:

@aidar you were right. now every aspect of testing works except when i run the g30 it deploys but it does not trigger when the pin is pressed. so when i issue the g30. it deploys and triggers but just starts flashing and doesnt stop moving the motors.

I think there is a wiring problem. The config was correct before without the I1. It was detecting that it was already triggered. By forcing it to invert it now thinks it's not triggered and so goes to probe.

Double check your white wire going to the probein.
