D2 Wifi/Ethernet Connection loss issues
-
I have an older duet 2 wifi thats starting to see some network drop issues. Everything was working perfectly until a week ago when I swapped out steppers from 1.8* to 0.9*. Before this change I would see no network drops, now it seems most common when a print ends and sometimes its even just random.
I went through the wifi troubleshooting guide and started lowering max speeds due to the stepper change, and monitoring hiccups form the M122 page. Nothing made any difference to the situation it would still drop. The only way to fix it would be resetting power to the Duet board.
I assumed this could have been due to the noise floor increase causing interference issues with the wifi as the board is tucked between 4 steppers. I swapped the ESP out with a ethernet module on the board. Now I'm still seeing disconnects even with the ethernet module which rules out interference.
I also enabled debug logging, but this showed nothing except the duet powering off. So those were kind of a waste.
Attaching M122 outputs from YAT here, I have not been able to get an output when the printer dies as the paneldue doesnt show the output and this last time the board reset itself right before I got the USB plugged in. Still trying to get one after a print.
Start up Diag.txt
After Home.txt
config.g.txtAny ideas would help save my sanity, as I have run out of ideas on what is causing these issues.
Edit: Re-upload config.g

Can you post a photo of how you have your duex wired? Particularly power and ground. It should be wired like shown heres.

I did put ferrules on the power wires as well since I had it apart, But both are powered directly from the PSU which would result in about 300mm of wire to each. I can swap this over to be powered the way the wiki shows.

Note you first have to "ask question" then "mark as solved".
