Bltouch do not work on PWM5 connector
-
what changes did you make in the config and retract and deploy when you wanted to switch to pwm5?
-
Please post your config.g and your firmware version from M115.

@Veti no chnges to config.g. But as far i conected to heater 7 pwm pin and GND and 5V at GPIO it works

@Phaedrux I am not at the office now will post tommorrow

P.s. the pwm and heater 7 are the same when heater 7 disabled in config.f according to documentation -

see this important message
https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connecting_a_Z_probeImportant: In the M280 commands in the following, leave out the I1 parameter if the BLTouch is connected to a servo output on a DueX board.

Ooo, I missed this , thank you , also now I saw I am using probe type 5 , where I should use 9
-
I could not get my bltouch to work on heater 5 , so I moved it to heater 7 and it worked first time.
So there is something about the bltouch and heater 5 ? -
@peter247 (and @martin7404) no, nothing wrong. I tested them all recently. Either connected to wrong pin, or config error. If you post your firmware version (M115), a picture of the wiring to the board, your config.g and deploy/retractprobe.g, I’m sure we’d work it out. It’s impossible to troubleshoot without these.

and the jumper should be set correctly for PWM5 to work: https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/10654/bl-touch-and-the-duex-5/64

So there is something about the bltouch and heater 5 ?Possibly. Some of the PWM outputs provide higher resolution than others. Real servos need high resolution for precise positioning. I don't know how fussy the BLTouch is in terms of how close the pulse widths need to be to the theoretical values.

I after checking it was heater 3 which I had problem with, not heater 5.

That's odd, because Heater 3 is a common choice for BLTouch.
