Don't feel too bad, 3D printing is probably one of the most complicated hobbies you can pick up.

        M574 Z1 S1 P"!zstop" ; configure active-high endstop for low end on Z via pin !zstop

Is your Z endstop the same as the other endstops? Your config has it as inverted signal, which could cause it to act as triggered even when it's not, meaning your homing is off.

Does homeall work to move all axis to their endstops correctly? Are you then able to jog all axis around correctly?

-x to the left, +x to the right, -y moves head to front of bed, +y moves head back, -z moves nozzle towards bed, +z moves nozzle away from bed.

In your homeall can you change this line from G1 H2 to remove the H2 completely?

What does it do when you tell it to home all?
Does it move towards the endstops?

I'm not sure what you mean by not able to move to any - axis.

@Phaedrux whew . . Uhm so i went and took the "!" from in front of the zstop

              M574 Z1 S1 P"zstop" ; configure active-high endstop for low end on Z via pin zstop

and now i'm able to move everything accordingly. It wouldn't let me use any of the negative machine movements. I dont know why it inverted it like that. . Do you think i should still go and remove the H2?

That's kind of why H2 shouldn't be in there. H2 will let it proceed even if there is a problem.

Looking at the printer from the front (so that the bed motor is at the rear) the 0,0 origin point should be the front left of the bed. -x should move to the left etc as I mentioned above.

We can test this without trying to home the printer first. Turn off the printer, move the print head and bed to the center point. Now turn the printer on and send g92 x150 y150 z1. Now you should be able to jog the axis around with the buttons to test that they move in the correct directions.

Then we need to know where the endetops are physically located on the cr10. IF it matches the ender3 the x should be on the left and y at the back by the motor. Is that right?

Then send m119 to get the status of the endstops. They should all say not triggered. And when you press them and send m119 it should say triggered.

@Phaedrux So do i change the value for F480000?
As in go back a few MM i took it down to

                                    G91 ; relative positioning
                                    G1 Z18 F480000 ; lift Z relative to current position

                                    G1 H2 X5 Y5 F480000 ; go back a few mm
                                    G1 H1 X-300 Y-300 F3600 ; move slowly to X and Y axis endstops once more (second pass)
                                    G1 H1 Z-400 F3600 ; move Z down stopping at the endstop
                                    G90 ; absolute positioning
G92 Z0 ; set Z position to axis minimum (you may want to adjust this)

So now when i try to homeall i cannot, it gives me

I think this should work. Since you have a Z end stop you can start by homing Z.

My printers don't allow for homing X and Y at the same time - so I don't even know if it is possible. If not just do them one axis at a time.

                                      Add/Adjust F params as desired.

                                          G1 Z18 F480000 ; lift Z relative to current position
                                          G1 H1 X-300 Y-300 F3000 ; move quickly to X and Y axis endstops and stop there (first pass)
                                          G1 H2 X5 Y5 F480000 ; go back a few mm
                                          G1 H1 X-300 Y-300 F3600 ; move slowly to X and Y axis endstops once more (second pass)
                                          G1 H1 Z-400 F3600 ; move Z down stopping at the endstop
                                          G90 ; absolute positioning

The reason for the error is because you've taken the H2 off of the Z move at the start and end. Those were ok. I just wanted you to remove it from the XY move in the middle.

This would work, but @fcwilt provided a better option anyway that homes the Z axis first.

                                          G1 H2 Z18 F6000 ; lift Z relative to current position
                                          G1 H1 X-300 Y-300 F3000 ; move quickly to X and Y axis endstops and stop there (first pass)
                                          G1 X5 Y5 F6000 ; go back a few mm
                                          G1 H1 X-300 Y-300 F3600 ; move slowly to X and Y axis endstops once more (second pass)
                                          G1 H1 Z-400 F3600 ; move Z down stopping at the endstop
                                          G1 Z5 ; back off
                                          G1 H1 Z-400 F600 ; home z again slowly
                                          G90 ; absolute positioning

F480000 is 8000mm/s which is really fast. But it wouldn't actually be able to use that speed because the max speed limit set in config.g is 6000mm/min which is a good cruising around speed (100mm/s)
